Obtain your New Jersey Permit to carry a concealed firearm with us! Learn the essential skills necessary to be a responsible armed citizen in this 5 hour class. Topics covered. 1.Legal aspects of concealed carry 2. Lateral movement 3. Differences between cover and concealment 4. Shooting from behind cover 5. weak hand/strong hand shooting 6. Target engagement 7. NJ certified PTC Qualification. 1. Semi automatic pistol. 2. 300-500 rounds of factory ammo for your pistol. 3. Ear and eye protection. 4. Clothing for an outdoor environment ( no facilities on site. 5.Concealed carry kydex holster and 3 magazine pouches (no leather or soft fabric holsters) 6. 3 spare magazines 7. Pen and paper for note taking. 8. A good attitude and an open mind 9. Food and snacks for the day At all SRFT courses, you are required to be competent and safe with the firearms you bring to class. You will be critically observed and judged for your muzzle awareness, trigger finger discipline, and other gun handling safety principles. If you demonstrate that you do not possess the capacity to load, unload, draw, present, transport, holster, sling, unsling, reload, fire, or manipulate your weapon with complete control, in any facet at all, you WILL be removed from the firing line, and a refund WILL NOT be issued. If you believe that your advanced skills warrant unsafe gun handling you will also be asked to leave. Skill is not the measure, safe gun handling absolutely is. SRFT has the right to cancel this class at anytime. This is a rain or shine event. This event is held outdoors with no on sight facilities.

Universal Firearms Safety Rules At SRFT, it is essential for all participants to understand and adhere to the four rules of firearms safety at all times while on the range. Our top priority is safety, and we will not tolerate any unsafe or hazardous handling of firearms. Any violations will lead to immediate removal from the range, and please be aware that no refunds will be granted. Your cooperation is vital to ensure a safe experience for everyone involved. RULE 1. Participants will not point their firearms at anything they are not willing to kill, mame or destroy or cause bodily or material damage to RULE 2. I will know the status of the firearm at all times and treat it with the respect it deserves as the life taking tool that it is. RULE 3. I will keep my finger off the trigger and outside the trigger-guard until i have the intention to fire. RULE 4. I will know my target, its background and foreground and what is going on around me at all times as best I can control. Refund Policy SRFT maintains a strict no-refund policy for participants who engage in unsafe firearms handling or violate safety standards. Our courses are conducted outdoors and will proceed in all weather conditions except when severe weather poses a safety risk, such as thunder and lightning.
